How much do you charge in travel?
Travel is calculated based on distance from our base in Dianella. The pricing is in tiered groups and are as follows.
0-30km - FREE
30-80km - $50
80-200km - $100
200-300 - $150
300-500km - $200
Do we need to pay for your accommodation?
Any wedding over 80km from Dianella may require accommodation. $150 will be added onto your invoice so appropriate accomodation can be booked, this will be discussed before the invoice is sent.
Can we book your accommodation?
Unfortunately I’ve had past issues with accommodations being booked for me. The reason being, I have very specific requirements for the accommodation, especially for weddings. Check-in time is usually after the time I am required to be at the venue setting up so I need to be able to check in with a key in a lock box. It also needs to be away from other people that are sleeping due to me coming in late at night, sometimes as late as 1am by the time I’ve packed down.
Will you come to our rehearsal?
I love coming to rehearsals! It means I can get a better feeling for the timings of your wedding party walking down the aisle. It also means you can practice exactly what will happen on the day and not listen to a recording. A rehearsal is included in all my packages if it is Monday - Friday, as I am a full time musician I usually have gigs or other weddings on Friday - Sunday. For down south weddings I can attend your rehearsal the day before if I am available, this will require 2 nights of accommodation to be paid.
Can we choose our major songs for our wedding?
Each package has a specified amount of songs I will learn for your wedding. Most packages include 2 songs, if you pick a song that I already know I will not include it as a choice. I recommend choosing your processional song and recessional songs and then choose your signing songs from my list (don’t worry, I have plenty of ceremony appropriate songs)
Can you sing a particular version of my favourite song?
I do have a specific vocal range and sometimes I may find it to sing like Alicia Keys or Ellie Goulding, but I will always try and if I am not capable I’ll let you know. When a musician plays a song they are playing their own version of it, so it will always change slightly, I may have to change the key to suit my voice. If you send me your song choices at least 2 months in advance I can learn and send you a video so you can hear what it will sounds like for the big day.
When do we have to send you our final info by?
Once your deposit is paid, I will send you a form to fill in, this has all the important info on it that I need such as start time, locations, specific song choices, etc. I like to have that back 2 months before the wedding. I do understand wedding planning is hectic and that ay be delayed but the sooner I get it the better!
